Sophia Latysheva awarded the Ö1 Talent Scholarship;
the Ö1 Audience Award goes to Angelika Wienerroither.

On November 3 the Ö1 Talent Scholarship for the Visual Arts 2022 was awarded to Sophia Latysheva by unanimous decision of the jury, with the Ö1 Audience Award going to Angelika Wienerroither. On behalf of the Wiener Städtische Versicherungsverein Insurance Group, Helene Kanta, Board Director, presented the EUR 10,000 prize money for the promotion of young artists, which has been awarded annually since 2008. The exhibition curated by Philippe Batka and featuring the nominees for the Ö1 Talent Scholarship for the Visual Arts 2022 is on show at the Leopold Museum for the third time already, under the title Taking Action in the Here and Now.
