From 7 July to 7 August, the ImPulsTanz – Vienna International Dance Festival will once again transform the city into a huge, vibrating dance floor and will also bring three exciting productions to the Leopold Museum.
On 1 and 3 August, choreographer Benoît Lachambre and musician Félix-Antoine Morin present their performance “Cathartic Quest” around themes such as medicinal plant ceremonies, dolphins, repression and Catholicism. From 2 to 5 August (vernissage: 1 August), the former presents graphic scores from his compositional repertoire as musical forms in his exhibition “Asemic Sound Mappings“. And in the premiere of “Welcome to the pleasure ...“ a series of international artists and collectives will present what they have developed together as part of the Creative Europe project Life Long Burning on 6 August.
